POST RI Book Launch at CCMC

The book launch for our upcoming book «Past Traumas: The Representation of History and Peace Education took place yesterday at Cyprus Community and Media Centre (CCMC).

The book is a result of a two-day conference, organised by POST RI on 26-27 November 2012. The contributors were Luigi Cajani, from the University of La Sapienza; Michalinos Zembylas, from the Open University of Cyprus; Hakan Karahasan from POST RI, and Shreya Jani, from Standing Together to Enable Peace Trust. Various papers from different parts of the world discussed issues like war education, peace education, how to overcome past traumas in education and the role of civil society in (post)conflict societies.
