NEWS JUST IN: The ‘Un Mundo Teñido de Paz’ exhibition will be hosted in Japan in 2015! The project, known in English as ‘A World Painted with Peace’, aims to explore how peace is understood and manifested within different cultures across the world. Children aged 6-12 are invited to express through painting what peace means to them, including an explanation of their drawing in their own words. The paintings are then gathered into an exhibition which travels across the continents, expanding all the while. POST RI has organized this activity on three separate occasions to date, as well as launching local exhibitions as a contribution to the international movement. The beautiful artwork created by Sophia, Mavi and Ayshe Mira on the 2013 and 2014 International Day of Peace in September will represent Cyprus in the exhibition – well done and thank-you to the girls!
