Join Our Book Club!

On Tuesday 11th of August, the first Book Club session was held at the Peace Education Centre. Participants studied and discussed an excerpt from John Paul Lederach’s ‘The Moral Imagination’. This section explored how Time as a concept plays a very big role in peace-building and needs to given adequate attention when understanding how a community perceives their past and its relation to the future. The group discussed the ideas in the context of Cyprus, with conversation leading to a debate about the establishment of a Truth and Reconciliaton Committee on the island.

Our library is full of Peace’s biggest names and greatest ideas. Join us next time for reading and discussion!
