Travelling Exhibition on the International Peace Day: “World Painted With Peace”


United Nations has declared 21 September as The International Day of Peace in 1981 and since then it has been celebrated all over the world to strengthen the ideals of peace. As part of the celebrations marking the day, POST Research Institute will be organising an international exhibition called `World Painted with Peace` where 18 peace paintings drawn by 6 to 13 year-old children from 11 countries will be exhibited at Home for Cooperation Café at Ledra Palace Buffer Zone.

Children coming to the event will be invited to paint peace from their own perspective and share their creative work which will then travel the world and be exhibited in other countries. The painting activity will take place at 17:00 – 18:00 on Sunday, the 20th of September.
